Welcome to RoofLife Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between RoofLife Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and our customers (“you” or “your”) regarding our roof rejuvenation services. Please read these terms carefully before entering into a contract with us.

1. Scope of Services

RoofLife Ltd. provides roof rejuvenation services, including but not limited to inspection, cleaning, minor repairs, and the application of our proprietary GreenSoy rejuvenation solution. Our services are designed to extend the life of your existing roof and enhance its performance.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Deposit

  • A minimum deposit of 10% of the total contract price is required to secure your booking.
  • The deposit is non-refundable unless specified in the cancellation policy below.

2.2 Payment Upon Completion

  • The remaining balance of the contract price is due upon the satisfactory completion of the job.
  • Payment is expected within 7 days of job completion.

2.3 Financing Options

  • Financing is available for qualified customers.
  • A minimum deposit of 10% of the total contract price is required for financing options.
  • 20% of the total contract price is due upon the satisfactory completion of the job.
  • Financing is contingent upon credit approval by our partnered financial institution.
  • The terms of the financing agreement will be provided to you upon approval.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellation

  • You may cancel your contract with RoofLife Ltd. within 10 days of signing, without penalty, in accordance with Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act.
  • If you wish to cancel after the 10-day cooling-off period but before the service has begun, you may be entitled to a refund of your deposit minus any reasonable expenses incurred by RoofLife Ltd. in preparation for the service.
  • If cancellation occurs after the service has commenced, you will be responsible for the payment of the services rendered up to the point of cancellation.

3.2 RoofLife Ltd. Initiated Cancellation

  • RoofLife Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the contract if unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather, make it unsafe or impractical to perform the work.
  •  In such cases, we will reschedule the service at a mutually agreed-upon date. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.

3.3 Financing Cancellation

  • If your financing application is not approved, you may either pay the full contract price as per the standard payment terms or cancel the contract. In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be refunded, provided that no services have commenced.

4. Service Delivery

  • RoofLife Ltd. will make every effort to complete the roof rejuvenation service within the agreed timeframe. However, timelines are subject to change due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions.
  • Any changes to the service schedule will be communicated to you promptly.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

  • RoofLife Ltd. guarantees that our services will be performed to the highest professional standards.
  • A detailed warranty for the rejuvenation treatment will be provided upon completion of the job.

6. Liability

  • RoofLife Ltd. is insured and will take all necessary precautions to protect your property during the service.
  • In the unlikely event of damage, RoofLife Ltd. will repair or compensate for the damage as per our insurance policy.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.
  • Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through mediation before pursuing any legal action.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal laws.
